After over 45 yrs in this business I had the “luck” of living in an area where almost everyone either has an insurance license, is married to someone who does, or at least so it seems. I don’t want to count how many offers from pitchmen i hear from with the blue sky promises. Yes I am still beating the bushes, trying all kinds of Lead Systems, only to find out that most of what I have seen so far has not been worth the powder to blow them to H—-. Meaning no offense. Continuing in the faith that, someone out there DOES care about a serious guy, which I believe myself to be, but more importantly someone who did my time in studying alternatives to any product that can match what have to offer, and it isn’t only $$$ signs. that I’m ready to deliver. Just give me a body that has a brain and a heart, and the self confidence to share some time with me. and i’ll do the rest.
Stay away from Moneytree Lending or Moneytree funding, anything with the name Moneytree. They have a bogus lead program, promising 40 leads a month of people closing on new home purchases or refinancing. Not one of those leads provided to me was legitimate and could not get my money back or even get replacement leads, which was clearly stated on the contract I signed, nor could I get them to call me back. Beware Moneytree!
Thanks for all you guys do for us agents who have no coaching outlets available through our organizations, keep up the great work!
As self serving as this sounds, there are quite a few things you can do to generate leads without expensive mailing campaigns or spending any money at all. The best strategy for this is using other peoples customers, and despite being new, you CAN do this effectively. We’ll show you how do it in the Alliance program.
I appreciate the information you have put together here. I am excited about digging in deeper to the materials that have been provided. I have been a financial advisor for almost 3 years and I’m ready to start making some serious money and help people at the same time. I got in this industry because it had the potential to give me the time flexibility I needed to raise my own family and to devote myself to my ministerial responsibilities. I look forward to implementing your strategies!
I’ve been in life insurance (and closely related products) sales for over 40 years. I’ve put too much time and most of my passion into the game of squash. Fortunately, that error in my ways has been a factor in my continuing good health. As a result, I need to get serious in the business now, and have the energy and focus to be able to do so.
Hello follow fed-up producers I have several small (10-25 agent ) call centers across the country. I believe I have bought from every lead provider. When I start a new lead company I give those leads to 4-5 top producers and test them for a week. Bottom line is that there isn’t a company out their that I would put my name behind. There must be another way to get in front of the millions of folks. That need what we have.
As a struggling Life/Health Idependent Broker I have used 2 different lead companines actually 3 If I include National Agents Allience lead program, but that is a totally different story.
Anyway the ones I tried were Discount Life Leads (Now I understand thename of the company – DISCOUNT) and the other was NetQoute.
I am just getting started into the business. I have a Series 6 & 63, along with the Life and Disablity lic. However I have literally $0 for a marketing budget. It seems your programs do work, but I am not sure how I can get started on “half” a shoe string budget.. I am looking forward to your help.
I tried Net Quote & found them to provide totally unreliable leads. The leads supposedly had been verified, not one lead was real. When I tried working with them to replace the leads with legitimate ones as stated in the agreement they gave me a hard time. After CANCELLING THEY TRIED CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD. American Express & the BBB helped clear my charges. Thanks for the report.
I tried Senior Leads and found these to be absoultely bogus. Many these leads had clients above 80 years old. You really can’t help someone wih an annuity that is “underwater” and needs from this locked in investment
really interested in your observation that many of “us” may not be around in another few years due to expected government oversight and the rule of unexpected consequences of government actions–witness overreaching with GM and CHRYSLER (my opinion obviously).Glad to hear that Sid Walker is officially or unofficially in your camp–I respect Sid for the way he goes about his advisory business.I hope everything works out for you.I am about to go independent and would like to be a party to some BIG time producer stories and advice on running a successful and profitable business.
Well, you certainly hAVE MY INTEREST ARROUSED. (1)I am a senior guy who took the old school approach have spent the past 5 byears doing my graduate degrees.(2) I have been saleman of the month many times and salesman of the nation years ago with consumer products. My last year in this industry I made over a million dollars in earnings. In the financial industry I even made salesman of the month and in the top 10 with a national mortgage company and did not even make $ 50,000.00(3) I haved not had respect or met a person inthis financial industry that did help and mold a person with dignity and honesty.
Finally, you seem to have put togather a complete program. Nowthat I owe $ 70,000.00 and over 65 the cost is a real factor. I know how can you not afford it?!. I liked the sampling very much, and this is from a tried and proven professional.
A fellow from California, Russ Jones introduced me to you.
I’m brand new, never sold anything.
I’d like to hitch my wagon to your star cause it sounds like you’ve got the solution ?
But…
Why would you sell a system to your competition if it’s as good as you say ?
I can guess it’s a Big Country but I still wonder ?
Keep me posted, I’ll pay attention.
Thanks
Citiwide Lending Group has an automated lead delivery system. Information is bad. They offer credit – as long as you subscribe to continue receiving bad leads. DON’T DO IT!
Mike, how are you currently marketing to these folks?
Direct mail has been proven to work well with seniors and we cover that in extreme detail in the program, PLUS, you even get to access to our Pre-Written marketing pieces and a library of pieces other agents and advisors have used successfully. If you could use more of these folks, then the Alliance might be the right place for you to accomplish this.
Suvey Resource Center out of Fla. sold me a list of “current annuity owners” who according to them had requested to meet with an advisor. This was a total joke, out of the first 10 I called 8 were bad telephone numbers and the other 2 were on the do not call list. I called asking for a refund and got nothing. I did stop payment on my credit card and they ended up getting nothing. I call the Florida attorney general and there was numerous complaints on this company. Be careful, the bigger promises they make the more untruthful they are.
I came across the Insurance Mavericks a few months ago while searching for a prospecting and lead generation system that made sense to me. Being the youngest agent, I am not sure that my employer fully understands the challenges I face today out on the road. The ideas the Insurance Mavericks set forth have really peeked my curiosity and made me come back to all the sites they have put up. I look forward to the daily emails and more importantly, I look forward to putting these techniques to use. Thanks for all the direction and information that will help me create a nice book of business.
I have tried Russ Jones and Deane Cipriano. Both were failures. When I tried to cancel Russ Jones he continued to charge my credit card for months. It took me calling my credit card company repeatedly and finally canceling my credit card to stop the payments.
Haven’t had to purchase leads (for insurance work, anyway) yet, adn just signed on with an agency where buying them’s not required to start. Am excited by your program, and it’d be great to have a year’s worth of Alliance membership for free.
I have to agree with Matt Schariff reference Money Tree Lists. I tried and didn’t have any success and couldn’ get good lead out of them. No money back either. Stay away from them.
The Lead Tree is horrible. They claim to have English speaking telemarketers however you can’t understand them and the lists that they call on are even worse. Don’t Use Them!!!!!!!!!
Sounds great, I’m looking forward to getting involved. I’ve tried most of the “lead” companies and still find referrals and calls work best. However, who likes calling on people???
I’ve tried most all of the “lead” systems and nothing compares to referrals and just calling on folks. But, who likes calling on people??? I look forward to what you have to offer.
I have tried several different “paid” lead sources. Some provide bona fide leads. However, since you can’t control the monthly volume, they end up taking way too much staff time quoting and chasing.
I have been in the health and life market for seven years as an independent broker.
I have used many lead sources. None of them worked well. In fact the pay back was negligible on all except one. That source, as they grew to become larger, lost its effectiveness to become just like the rest.
I look forward to hearing about a program that would really be worth the investment in time and money.
So what have you got?
I spent several thousand dollars for leads with Insurance Selling founded by Dean Cipriano which was implemented in concert with P-2 Marketing. The lag time between an inquiry and my receipt of the “lead” was several weeks. Not one lead was of any more value than if I had flipped open a phone book calling cold. The company refused to refund my purchase price but ultimately refunded 38% of the Insurance Selling cost because I had documented every call and response to each “lead” and demanded a refund. The P-2 Marketing costs were not refunded.
I have tried both NetQuote & Insurance Leadz (with a Z). These so-called “exclusive” leads were a joke. The very first lead I received from Ins Leadz was from a gentleman that said I was the third person to call him regarding his online quote request. He told me he didnt even own a computer. Net Quote’s leads were terrible…and trying to get another lead was like pulling teeth. Make sure and watch your checking account very carefully….both will bill you without notice.

Al, I understand, I’ve been there myself.

David, it took me about 3 years before I finally figured it out. Hopefully this is a good time for you to move to the next level.

My first reaction is that the names Sid Walker and Bill Cates are solid credentials. I’ll listen further.

Looking forward to the next couple of videos. Even though I may not be a 7 figure producer, just a decent 6 figures would be great.
Looking forward to receiving materials and future videos.
Can’t wait!

I work in a niche market: Seniors with arthritis. I handle medical items for such people who are on Medicare. How can this lead program help me?
Thanks,
Mike Reiter

Loved the interview with Aaron Cottle…great to see both of you doing so well.
Wonder where you got the tri-fold idea from
Hope all is well.

Extremely well done and very well thought out with processes that are easy to understand and grasp. I look forward to learning more.

Hi you Guys,
Cant wait to see the new Program starting in June, keep me posteed.
Great resource. Love the site, especially the weekly updates.
My two cents would be sto stay away from Netquote, NAA, Iwebleads and producer pipeline.
Been agent long time seeking to genrate own leads. I eagerly await your product launch.

I hope that the next step lives up to the advance publicity.
